Date night was supposed to be a showing of Creed at the college, but when we got there it was a museum event, and the person showing the movie was running late. We helped ourselves to crackers, grapes, cheese and cider while we chatted, then decided to head home for pajamas and cards and coffee.
Conversation ran to ideas of lifestyl versus product, options versus choices, and the making of an identity. We watched two more episodes of Occupied, I wrote the beginning of my conference paper, and went to bed happy. It was a wonderful day into evening.
