A dozen in the wings

This summer, I have a great contract in Roanoke. That is good news for my family and me, but bad news for my reading list. I have been carrying around The Girl Who Kicked A Hornet's Nest for weeks now, but still haven't read much of it.

Once it is finished, though, I have a list of books just waiting to be purchased:
  • So Cold the River by Michael Koryta
  • The Farmer's Daughter by Jim Harrison
  • Fun With Problems by Robert Stone
  • Spies of the Balkans by Alan Furst
  • Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann
  • The Gone-Away World by Nick Harkaway
  • What Happened to Anna K. by Irina Reyn
  • The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick
  • Sizzlin' Sixteen by Janet Evanovich
  • Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese
  • The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
  • Far From Kinsington by Muriel Spark
