Just in time for the snow, David and I landscaped over the weekend. We added a Southern Magnolia (that will ultimately get to be 80 feet tall), a Santa Rosa plum tree to help pollinate our existing plum tree of unknown variety (blooms are pretty, but fruits are better), and put heather and forsythia at the drive. I think it's perfectly lovely. The weather over the weekend was wonderful, and we had a good time playing in the dirt and moving earth with the tractor. The walkway is nearly ready for the bricks and roses.
