Reading Log: Confessions of a Shinagawa Monkey

I adore Haruki Murakami's "Confessions of a Shinagawa Monkey." Always a sucker for good magical realism, this is fun and humanizing and holds a mirror to our definitions of Civilization while also playing tricks, leaving us wondering if the narrator is unreliable, if the monkey is real, what identity is, and how we possess who we are.
