I'm looking forward to my time-honored Election Day traditions: voting before dawn, checking the results from Dixville Notch after voting (Clinton, this year), parent-teacher conferences, lunchtime election talk, errands and outings, dinner together, watching returns after the polls close.
What a great card to pull on election day:
No matter how routine and ordinary you may feel about today's duties and demands, you can bolster your spirit by remembering what inspires you. There are role models, ideals, dreams, and aspirations that can inform and improve even the simplest and most modest of your activities. Act with integrity and pride, and instill everything you do with that integrity and pride. Hold your head high.
