Thursday

Transferring utilities is like being a minor character in a Kafka novel, but it is done. We will be without Al Gore's Internet for a few days.

I meet the new landlord and swap money for keys at ten, and then the moving chaos begins in earnest. The water company requires a copy of the lease, which is bogus since I could print a lease off the internet at whim.

Meanwhile, I am watching season five of True Blood and knitting. Vivian's sweater dress has consumed over 300 yards thus far and will likely take another couple hundred yards yet before it's long enough - she is a tall thing indeed.
