This upcoming fortnight promises to be fraught with tension -- there is a visitation amendment hearing on July 6, initiated by my attorney since David is uncooperative, and opposing counsel is ramping up once again.
I'm pretty certain that this is about the universe wanting me to develop the skill of having peace and acceptance in the face of chaos and discord against which I am powerless. I have placed all my faith in my attorney and a bit of good orderly direction. This is much harder than it sounds.
In other news, some of us from the recent Tinker Mountain Writers Workshop who are local-ish to the Hollins area have decided to get together weekly to exchange writing and keep the light aflame. I'm taking two poems from yesterday, and am very much looking forward to it.
Also, there is a concert at the Jefferson Center that I'm looking forward to as well, a Solstice gift from a friend with an extra ticket. I'm pretty certain that this is proof that the universe loves me and wants me to be happy, and that's all that matters as of right now.
Speaking of Solstice, Harvey and I had a lovely time at the Friends gathering last night, sitting in reflection as the last of the sun's longest day fell upon us. We are truly blessed.
The move to summer is coming along nicely, and there has been much to celebrate. Tonight the bikes are coming over, and we are looking forward to riding down the greenway once again -- Vivian has always held Smith Park amongst her favorites.
