Putting the midnight in midnight snack

The upside of having been woken up in the middle of the night to change and rock and sing with Vivian was that I finished Ready Player One around 3 in the morning. I dare you not to adore that book.

By the time I turned the lights out, I had skipped the second Kane Chronicle yet again, this time in favor for a NY-based thriller set in the 1840's, Gods of Gotham. I blame the title and Jennifer's recommendation. I'm only a few pages into it, which is just about where I needed to leave off in order to sleep and to let the new world, the world that is not the OASIS, percolate.

I've gone from sweet-sore to wicked-sore from Pilates. Most everything is ok, but the abs are simply on fire. I'm supposed to have swing dance tonight, and at this rate I'll either be rock hard or dead.

You'd be amazed how much research you can get done when you have absolutely no life whatsoever." ---- Ernest Cline, Ready Player One
