After this week's steady, at times relentless, rain, I have been increasingly glad that we didn't order a load of gravel for the driveway yet. In fact, when David came in during the torrential downpour and storm last night, he said our driveway was probably halfway to Blacksburg by now.
This morning a DOT vehicle came trundling up our road, dumped dirt and gravel at the end of the drive and the smoothened it. How cool is that?
