Its a beautifully rendered show, visually opulent without making everyone blandly beautiful. Each character is believable and textured. As the story unraveled, and our characters did too, I recognized more than I was comfortable with, as though the author had sneaked into my "burn after reading" journals, the ones I don't even let myself read.
Along with Hillbilly Elegy, I need to see how the craft of this was rendered on the page.
