Yeah, that's where I live.](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-DdeRCyhuasG8xD8I5c5QK7X8EerF8AXZwBldzeTX02LqtBYjJ0aw36QyJs0k3U-CU5OdcG3u042RyValSYU3z0SPyemtdiRE-sGHwOkFBJ9bz_tyAs2mPineNtpGRk_qvZcV9GzH5Lw/s320/20121026HurricaneSandyMeetsNorthernStorm.jpg)
In what is predicted to be the
worst storm in a hundred years, North is about to meet South next week on or near my front porch. Anyone who has known me for five minutes knows I like storms, even the dangerous ones. We have plenty of space and a hurricane-resistant, non-flooding home, so if you need to come west to get away from the rain, drop me a line. We can have a hurricane party.
If the current predictions hold, we will have a cloudy-but-calm weekend before the storm arrives, and if we aren't completely wiped out from the
Pumpkin Carving, I think I would like to spend Sunday at the
Williams Orchard Fall Festival. We will see.
