gong xi fa chai!

Last night while Graeme was playing D&D, I made a huge batch of spaghetti to put up in the freezer. I had grand plans of making a baked spaghetti pan and a pan of lasagna, but apparently the cheeses that I thought I had don't exist. Perhaps I dreamed them -- I do that a lot these days. In any event, the sauce was delicious, and I'm looking forward to making dinners in advance and storing them up.

Perhaps it's the nesting thing. I hear it gets really bad near the end of the term, and yesterday the ob decided to set an induction date in the unlikely event that I haven't delivered before then. I hate the thought of being induced, so here's hoping the little girl shows up before Feb. 24.

I'm big, and it's all baby. I know that it's going to take a lot of gradual, dedicated work to get back into shape after the delivery, and while I was talking with a co-worker I found out that the Planet Fitness near my house has extended hours, low rates and (the real selling point) massage chairs. No, they don't have daycare, but that's all good.

Year of the Rabbit resolution: no less than once a week on the treadmill. I'm horrible with resolutions per se, but I'm great with tables, maps, graphs and charts, so I am planning on tracking my progress.
