signs of spring: Sinus infections and garden plans

I am sicker than a dog and yesterday while I was at home, trying to find something to do to keep me from falling asleep before Ethan was dropped off, I picked up the Exciting Gardens catalog and started thumbing through it. I got all excited. Before I knew what had happened, I had lists and plans and tables and maps and graphs and charts. I was All About the landscaping, how we were going to do it this spring, come hell or high water.

This morning I checked the nursery out online. It’s a scam, apparently, sending stuff late if at all, sending crappy plants, etc. That’s a real downer. My enthusiasm for the project hasn’t waned, despite having given up on the supplier, though. I’m still looking forward to taking my list and going to a local nursery and figuring out how much it will cost to get what I want and when I can expect it.

And now that we have a spiffy digital camera, there might even be pictures. How cool is that?
